Microtex Roll Close up MICROTEXis a high temperature resistant reinforcing mesh for Precast Refractories, made of continuous stainless steel fibres.

MICROTEX offers excellent hot face crack resistance giving concentrated reinforcement where 1st cracks typically start. Edges and corners can also benefit form MICROTEX where mechanical damage can lead to refractory failure even during transit.

Microtex Roll group MICROTEX is made of stainless steel and therefore provides high temperature and oxidation resistance.

MICROTEX is available in rolls of flexible continuous mesh, easy to cut or trim, and easily incorporated in layers into the castable.

MICROTEX can be used in conjunction with both Melt Extract stainless steel fibres and polypropylene fibres.
