Product Development Division (PDD) is using its Melt Overflow Technology
to develop a range of practical, alternative solutions for applications
in the Automotive Components market, to enhance product performance,
and reduce costs.
Melt
Overflow Technology provides a low cost access to a unique range
of alloys and benefits, as well as Product Development sampling.
Test batches from 10 kgs up to 500 kgs of fibre /filament alloy
can be produced in one day, on dedicated processing equipment. Set-up
costs are minimal to allow Product designers the flexibility of
access to a variety of product options for testing, at marginal
costs.
In
addition, Melt Overflow technology offers the option of producing
a range of fibre and filament chemistries, in tailored geometrys
(sometimes during the same batch), which again enhances development
testing options at little or marginal extra cost.
Confidentiality
As an experienced 3rd tier supplier, Fibretech is experienced in
the need for confidentiality in the Product Development process.
PDD therefore has a strict Contract & Confidentiality Policy, whether
working as a Partner/Collaborator or Sub-Contractor to the Principle,
